Latvian Team — Online Dissemination Workshop
Following the completion of the PASSI training, the Latvian participants carried out an online dissemination workshop to share the project experience and its practical relevance with professionals working in youth support and inclusion.
Overview
The online format allowed the team to reach a wider audience of youth workers, therapists, and specialists, to whom they presented the main aims of the PASSI project, its training framework, and the rationale behind promoting autonomy as a gradual, structured process.
What the workshop highlighted
- Autonomy as a gradual, structured pathway
- Planning for independence through clear steps and routines
- Adapting support to individual needs
- Encouraging initiative in everyday situations
- Concrete cases inspired by training activities implemented in Italy
- Practical approaches for independence planning
- Support strategies aligned to individual strengths and context
Transfer into local practice
A dedicated part of the workshop was devoted to discussing how PASSI methodologies can be transferred into local practice. Participants reflected on the importance of intentional goal-setting, interdisciplinary cooperation, and empowering young people by allowing space for choice, responsibility, and self-reflection.
Impact
The dissemination activity strengthened professional exchange at national level, encouraged critical reflection on existing approaches, and supported the exploration of new, autonomy-oriented strategies for working with young people in Latvia.
