What did you learn or discover during the PASSI training that will be most useful in your daily work as a youth worker?

The PASSI training gave me practical tools I can immediately apply in my work with young people. The interactive sessions on coaching, communication, and autonomy made me realise how often I focus on giving information rather than creating relationships that empower young people to take responsibility. The case-based learning inspired by PUCK showed me how essential real-life situations are in teaching autonomy. The blended methods—role-plays, co-design labs, and cultural exchange evenings—expanded my understanding of youth work and showed me how powerful it is to involve young people directly in creating educational processes. Working on the ‘Toolkit for Autonomy’ helped me understand the importance of having clear, accessible tools to guide young people. This will be one of the resources I am planning to use most often.

How did the international environment and collaboration with other participants influence your learning experience?

The international environment broadened my perspective on youth work. Collaborating with participants from different cultural backgrounds helped me see how much our educational habits are shaped by our countries and experiences. Group work became a living laboratory of intercultural learning: every decision required listening, mediation, and openness. Informal cultural exchanges added even more value, revealing the human side of everyone beyond their role in the training. This experience strengthened my desire to integrate diversity more intentionally in my daily work with young people.

What message or advice would you give to future participants from your country who will join Erasmus+ projects like PASSI next year?

To future participants, I would say: embrace this experience fully. Don’t be afraid to speak, to share ideas, doubts, or mistakes. Erasmus+ values openness, curiosity, and active involvement. Don’t arrive with rigid expectations. What makes PASSI valuable is what you build together with the group. Use the international setting as a resource—ask questions, observe others, exchange practices. And most importantly, enjoy the experience. The friendships, cultural exchanges, laughter, and small moments of growth are what will truly shape you as a youth worker.
