Testimonianza dal training PASSI (Ercolano, Italia): apprendimento, collaborazione internazionale e consigli ai futuri partecipanti.
What did you learn or discover during the PASSI training that will be most useful in your daily work as a youth worker?
I liked learning about other cultures. Since we have sports activities, such as football, which are still in the development stage, it was good to hear how good the inclusive sports activities and opportunities are in other countries.
How did the international environment and collaboration with other participants influence your learning experience?
It was exciting to learn about the cultural differences and it was clearly noticeable that we are rather similar to Latvians who are also from the Nordic countries. In Southern Europe, people tend to seem more dominant and temperamental. At the same time, it formed a rather positive cooperation. At the same time, it was possible to see the big difference in the social system and services in different countries.
What message or advice would you give to future participants from your country who will join Erasmus+ projects like PASSI next year?
This is a good opportunity to see outside the box. What is being done elsewhere. Find friends and opportunities for collaboration. Learn other cultures. Invaluable language practice. Also, an open learning method such as the Erasmus program is very suitable for beginners with little knowledge or language skills.
